Welcome and thank you for your interest in buying a Jack Russell

Terrier Shorty.  The full cost of a puppy is $1800.00.

If you would like breeding rights there will be an additional charge of $400.00 for a female, and $250.00 for a male.

There is a non-refundable deposit of $300.00.  This will ensure that the puppy you have chosen will be taken off the sale list and held for you.  If things change because of unforeseen circumstances your deposit can be transferred to a future litter.  The cancelation of purchase must be made before the puppy is 4 weeks old.  If you cancel your purchase after the puppy is 4 weeks old the deposit will not be refunded.  Please note that there may be a waiting list for a puppy.

Please make final payments for puppy by 6 weeks of age.  Venmo and PayPal are available for payment plans.  Credit cards, cash or checks (with a waiting period) are also accepted.  There will be a 4% fee for PayPal and Venmo.

The puppies will come home with their tails docked, dew claws removed, their first sets of shots and worming and their first vet check along with a vet signed health record.  They will also come home with a sample of food, a gift bag, and registration papers.

Puppies will be ready to go to their homes at 8 weeks old.  You will be notified of this date.  Please make plans before or at notification for pick up, delivery or shipping of puppy.  All payments must be clear before the puppy is released to you.  Delivery can be made locally for $1.00 per mile, limit on deliveries 75 miles.  Delivering your puppy to the airport can be arranged.  Shipping your puppy can start at around $500.00. Services available, happytailstravel.com and tlcpettransport.com both do ground shipping.  Greenfieldpuppies.com is an airline service.  Some airlines have services available too. Please plan if the puppy is to be shipped as soon as possible, preferably by the time the puppy is 6 weeks old. We can also discuss delivering the puppy to PDX airport.

Buyers will be required to have the puppy checked by their vet within 72 hours of pick up.  Some vets are very busy, so make this appointment several weeks prior to pick up.  If buyers vet finds puppy to be other the healthy please contact the breeder immediately, puppy can possibly be returned to breeder for a refund or to replace the puppy.  The breeder’s vet will have the right to double check puppy for any health issues before a refund or replacement is made.  The breeder will not be responsible for any vet bills after puppy has left our care.  Please be aware that problems like diarrhea, coccidiosis, wormy stool, etc. are common among puppies.  We strive to make every puppy free of these conditions before they leave our care.  The buyer will be responsible for continued vaccination and worming and the puppy’s health care.  The buyer is also required to follow vet recommendations for limiting puppy’s exposure to parvo at public places until properly vaccinated.  The buyer agrees to have puppy spade or neutered between 8/9 months if not purchasing breeding rights. Breeder cannot guarantee the puppy’s ears, legs, hair coat, or height and weight at maturity.

If at any time buyer is unable to care for puppy and are unable to find a safe loving home for him/her you agree to return him/her along with vet record and registration papers to breeder so a new loving home can be found.
