Who We Are
We are the Howard family
We are located in the beautiful pacific northwest, in Oregon wine country, southwest of Portland. We are about an hour’s drive from the Oregon coast. We are on just under 6 acres in Yamhill County. Home to a dozen chickens, 3 goats, 3 dogs and 1 feisty kitten.
We enjoy camping, fishing and hiking in Eastern and Central Oregon and trips to the coast. Our kids all have a great love for the outdoors, and all our dogs join us on our many outdoor adventures.
We have raised three kids, two boys and a girl, all live near by. Our oldest served 9 years in the Army and is newly married. Our daughter-in-law and him are expecting their first child, a boy, in July, who surprised us all a month early. Our middle son and daughter-in-law are parents to our first grandchild. She is heading into 1st grade in the fall and loves coming to Grandma and Grandpa’s farm to feed the goats, chickens. She is officially in charge of naming all new chicks. Our daughter is our animal lover. She was involved in 4H for many years with horses mostly, but also, rabbits and photography.
We both had dogs growing up, and have raised several dogs together. Mostly Jack Russell’s and German Shepard’s.
